Along with Weather Send Me Home, this is a real favourite. Increasing in intensity in both musical and lyrical terms, the song describes in detail the protagonist's arrival back home as he walks sowly up the stairs and wonders at the clues along the way.
It builds and builds to a violently ominous conclusion that leaves plenty of room in the imagination for what happened next. What would you do?
